Once again, I find myself ready to write and maintain a blog. It’s no easy task, as I already found out almost 2 years ago.
Before starting this whole blogging thing again, I looked at my old blog posts which I archived on the server. Shit… a lot of stuff has changed in the past two years. Despite almost loathing how and what I wrote, I think it was necessary for me to go through that stage in order to become who I am now. Now, life couldn’t be better. If I could tell my ‘07 self something I would day: “Just keep going! Hold on a bit more!”. And here I am now!
There’s something I want to get out of the way: I know a lot of people are going to ask: “Martin, why are you writing on English?”. There are two reasons: 1) One of the goals of my blog is to share my work with the world. I hope that, someday, this blog helps me get a job somewhere interesting. And, in order to reach a wide number of people, writing in English is the way to go. 2) Writing a blog is a good way to practice my English redaction skills. Also, lets be honest here: most of the people that are going to read this in its early stages do have English reading skills.
I don’t want to have a blog to post cool, interesting, funny, or dumb shit I found on the internet. There’s a lot of places out there that already do that. I plan to post cool, interesting, funny, or dumb shit that is not found anywhere on the internet. Creation is the goal here, not repetition.
With nothing more to say for the moment, I welcome you to my blog. I hope you find it cool, interesting, funny, or dumb enough to come back.
